LVMH tackles waste issue with Nona Source

LVMH announced the launch of Nona Source, which will officially tackle the issue of waste and deadstock fabrics for the luxury conglomerate. The brainchild of Romain Brabo, previously a materials buyer at Givenchy, the aim is dual as it also is a means to give young designers access to quality fabrics at a fraction of the cost, in quantities that make sense for small production runs. Brabo explains the meaning behind the name: 'Nona is one of the Parcae in Roman mythology. She spins the thread of life, and Source is a reference to “sourcing”.' Read here
