Women everywhere, take note! A new company is daringly claiming that they have created rip-resistant tights. You could call them ‘forever tights’ (something that sounds so strange it’s making me giggle).

This matters in more ways than one: no more wardrobe malfunctions, fewer ruined tights filling bins. According to the Guardian, about 8bn pairs of tights are thrown away after being worn no more than twice. So clearly, a solution needs to be found.
