Guess what? Journaling works

NY Mag’s The Cut has a new series, which I discovered thanks to the Scribbling Buddha newsletter, written by author April Dàvila, an early guest of the podcast. The proposition is simple: ‘I tried it’ is meant to put some daily mindfulness tactics to the test, with the goal of reporting back.

The tone is sufficiently skeptical to prove that the journalist wasn’t convinced at the start. Which is great, that’s just what you want out of a trial run, right? In any case, being six years or more into daily morning pages, I’m delighted to have read these words.
