WHAT SONG BEST REPRESENTS YOU?

Early on in working on my podcast, I decided to select some questions which I’d ask every guest at the end of each interview. My favorite question is ‘what brings you happiness?’ and my second favorite is probably ‘what song best represents you?’
It’s a tough question to answer because it’s not ‘what is your favorite song,’ the nuance making it perhaps that much more challenging. Plenty of my guests abstain from answering, understandably. But, thanks to the ones that did, I chose to create a Spotify playlist to collect the eclectic mix of tunes that turned up in each episode. And for good measure, I am adding the song that best represents me, right at the top: ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. A PODCAST SUMMER

Had you guessed I love podcasts? Not just mine, I mean all sorts of podcasts. Well I also really, really don’t like the new Apple Podcasts platform: it’s stiff, slow, it feels like it's constantly bugging and for some reason it no longer wants to feature my show notes (which I take great care in putting together). Spotify has the big flaw that a number of shows missing from their platform. So, I’m trying something new, aka podcast app Castro, courtesy of this article in Fast Company.
